Shortly after ACI’s purchase of Sandpiper Park, the City of Arcata provided financial assistance for ACI's nonprofit purchase of Arcata Mobilehome Park—an all age community comprised almost entirely of low income homeowners. Arcata Mobilehome Park provides a quiet setting only minutes from downtown Arcata, but with views of the redwoods and bordered by grazing pastures.
